In 2004 and 2005, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine successively approved the issuance of a mandatory national standard for 12 sets of control devices and 6 related lamp ballasts and transformers organized by the National Lighting Standardization Technical Committee. The trigger technical performance standards and the National Energy Efficiency and Management Standardization Technical Committee have two national energy efficiency standards with mandatory provisions. There are 20 national standards:
