Sharp and Amazon collaborate to launch air purifiers and air conditioners
Sharp recently announced in Japan that it has launched an air purifier and air-conditioning product in cooperation with Amazon. The biggest feature is that it is equipped with Amazon's intelligent voice control "Amazon Echo", which realizes switching and temperature setting through voice operation.
"Amazon Echo" has been operating on smart speakers and other related products before, and can be used to play smart phones, switch music, and even read weather forecasts and news through voice control. It is now possible to voice-operate appliances after being connected to home appliances through wireless connection.
The air conditioner and air purifier will operate through a dedicated mobile app, which can be operated in the same app. Air cleaner detection, air conditioning mode switching, heating and other functions are all equipped in the APP.
Regarding those products equipped with "Amazon Echo", Sharp officially announced that the AIOT humidifying air purifier, which was released in September 2017, and the air-conditioning product with built-in wireless LAN function, which will be released in December, will support this function.
