SMEs suffer from contraction pain

Recently, Guangdong Lighting Association published a survey report on the operation status of Guangdong lighting electrical enterprises, showing that about 60% of enterprises said that sales are increasing, and the growth rate is about 8% to 79%, but these companies have certain manufacturing scale. . In terms of operating costs and profits, most of the operating costs of lighting companies surveyed are between 10% and 20%; the decline in corporate profit margins is mostly between 10% and 20%.
As one of the national lighting production bases in Guangdong, 80% of lighting companies are small and medium-sized enterprises. These small and medium-sized enterprises have problems such as aging marketing channels, weak brand competitiveness, and low product research and development capabilities.
The survey report also shows that at present, a major problem facing the Guangdong lighting industry is the decline in overall profitability. The report quoted relevant data to further explain this: in the first half of this year, Guangdong's lighting industry's profit fell by about 24% year-on-year, while the national lighting industry's profit growth rate was about 12%.
Although some insiders said that the scope of the report was relatively small and could not fully reflect the problem, but in the tube, it is obvious that the grim situation of the lighting industry is still in front.
Lighting giants show good results
However, some of the lighting giants on the scale of the scale still shine. For example, NVC's performance in the first half of the year increased by 76% year-on-year, and the growth rate of overseas markets reached an astonishing 300%.
