In the past few days, in the Liancheng County Industrial Park, the construction of the artificial sapphire project of Fujian Xinjing Precision Corundum Technology Co., Ltd., which started basic construction after the Spring Festival, has been rapidly advanced. More than 40 workers are busy tying the steel bars on the first floor of the plant and installing templates. The construction of the project will build a solid foundation for the Haixi Photovoltaic and Semiconductor Lighting Industry Demonstration Base.
Last year, the county signed contracts to introduce 13 projects with artificial sapphire, Huanming photovoltaic technology and solar cell polysilicon wafers with a total investment of 1.4 billion yuan. The artificial sapphire project is the upstream core project of the optoelectronic semiconductor lighting industry. Projects such as Huanming Photovoltaic Technology and solar cell polysilicon will enhance the level of the county's photovoltaic industry and lengthen the industrial chain. This year, the county is committed to doing a good job in service, ensuring that more than 20 photovoltaic industry projects with a total investment of nearly 2 billion yuan have been started, built and put into operation.
At the same time, it also focused on guiding Longwei Silicon Industry, Haoxiang Metallurgy, Taixin Metal Materials and other silicon material production enterprises to increase scientific research, improve production level and product quality, and promote the development of enterprises, which were completed in 8 photovoltaic enterprises above designated size last year. The output value of 294.5 million yuan, based on an increase of 212.7%, once again achieved leapfrog development.
