Hubei plans to lead thousands of people to Taiwan to purchase LED and photovoltaic panel products
In mid-April, Hubei will lead a delegation of thousands of people to Taiwan, and the purchase amount of this trip will be 1.5 billion US dollars (about NT$48 billion). In recent years, Hubei Province is actively creating “China Optics Valleyâ€, and its procurement focuses on electronic components such as optoelectronics, panels and LEDs.
From April 19 to 26, Luo Qingquan, secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, will lead a delegation of thousands of people to visit Taiwan. Yu Mingjin, president of the Wuhan Taiwan Business Association, revealed that since Hubei has actively developed the optoelectronic industry in recent years, the Hubei provincial government has also organized local optoelectronic and LED operators to come to Taiwan, so optoelectronics, LED and panel projects will be the focus of procurement.
Hubei Province is one of the major investment towns for Taiwanese businessmen in the mainland. At present, more than 40 of Taiwan's top 100 companies have invested in the local area, and more than 60 projects have invested more than US$10 million.
