The LC1912 is an ultra-low operating voltage LED constant current driver designed specifically for multi-string LEDs with low input voltages. Its constant current accuracy is 2%, the temperature stability is very good, and the current accuracy is much higher than 5-10% of the general LED constant current driver. The LC1912 application circuit is very simple, requiring only a small capacitor and an output set resistor, with little peripheral cost. It is a tiny SOT23-3 package that can be used with very small LED boards.

The LC1912 is available in a compact and tiny SOT23-3 package with three pins (see Figure 1 below). Pin 1 is GND, pin 2 is REF, and pin 3 is LED. The CL1912 has a withstand voltage of 12V (LED terminal to GND terminal) and the REF terminal is constant at 1.2V (accuracy +/-2%).

When driving the LED, the DC voltage is connected to multiple LED strings, and then the most negative end of the LED string is connected to the LED end of the CL1912. As long as the voltage of the LED terminal to ground is between 1.35V and 10V, the entire LED can be guaranteed. The string of lights is constant. The driving current can be freely set. The setting method is to connect a resistor from REF to ground. If the driving current is set to 20mA, the resistor is 1.2V/20mA=60ohm. If the driving current is set to 60mA, the resistor is used. It is 1.2V/60mA=20ohm.

Individual LED Power Indication:


Input with a switch, LED indicators lighten when the power supply operates normally.


Individual PTC Output Protection:

each output contains independent PTC, LED indicator, which is not interfere with each other.
