MicroOLED receives orders for 10,000 micro OLED displays
[High-tech LED News] MicroOLED announced that it will realize mass production of OLED micro-displays. It has received orders for 10,000 micro-OLED displays and will ship them in a few months.
MicroOLED's first microdisplays are 9.6 mm in size and feature 800x480 (WVGA) resolution with a white SM-OLED source and RGBB color filter. When playing 150-stream brightness video, the power consumption is 25mW. This batch of products will be used in professional security areas and optical motion products (such as the observation of bird-specific electronic telescopes).
According to MicroOLED, the daily production capacity of its pipeline can reach 300,000 units per day. They will continue to focus on developing a second product that supports SVGA resolution (1280x1024).
