National Electric Vehicle Battery Test Results Announced in 2010

In 2010, the results of the joint supervision and inspection of the quality of sealed lead-acid batteries for electric bicycles in the country were announced.

The spot check is based on GB/T 22199-2008 "sealed lead-acid batteries for electric bicycles" and the "Guidelines for the Implementation of Linked Lead-Acid Battery Product Quality Supervision Regulations for Electric Bicycles in 2010", and sealed lead-acid batteries for electric bicycles. The following items were examined: 11 items including sign, dimensions, 2hr capacity, -15°C low temperature capacity, high current discharge characteristics, overdischarge, charge acceptance, vibration resistance, on-off valve capacity, safety, and explosion-proof capability.

A total sample of 501 companies in 17 provinces (municipalities) including Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Sichuan, and Yunnan were produced. Of the 504 batches of sealed lead-acid battery products for electric scooters, 461 batches of products from 458 companies were qualified, and the batch sampling pass rate was 91.5%.

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China has notified the local government and related departments of the quality supervision and inspection of sealed lead-acid batteries for electric bicycles in the country, and has instructed the relevant provincial (or municipality) quality and technical supervision departments to comply with relevant laws and regulations. The unqualified products and their production enterprises will be dealt with according to law.

Power Cable

Power cables are used to transmit and distribute electric energy. Power cables are often used in urban underground power grids, internal power supply of enterprises, outgoing lines of power stations, internal power supply of industrial and mining enterprises, and underwater power transmission lines across rivers and seas.
In power lines, the proportion of cables is gradually increasing. Power cable is a cable product used to transmit and distribute high-power electric energy in the trunk line of power system.
The structure of power cable is relatively simple, which can be divided into conductor, internal and external insulation layer, sheath, armor layer and protective layer. The conductor is mainly made of copper and aluminum, which is used to conduct current. The insulating layer is usually wrapped around the conductor to isolate the conductor and so on. There are various types of power cables. If they are classified according to voltage, they can be divided into low-voltage, medium voltage, high-voltage, ultra-high voltage and ultra-high voltage cables.

Advantages

1. Small land occupation. Generally, it is buried in the soil or laid indoors, in ditches and tunnels. The insulation distance between lines is small, without poles and towers. It occupies less land and basically does not occupy space on the ground.
2. High reliability. It is less affected by climatic conditions and surrounding environment, with stable transmission performance and high reliability.
3.It has more favorable conditions for the development of ultra-high voltage and large capacity, such as low temperature and superconducting power cables.
4.Less maintenance work.
5 The possibility of electric shock is low.
