State Grid will launch a "health check" on 3 million residents' magnetic card meters in Beijing

The focus is on checking the operating data of old communities.

Starting today, State Grid Beijing will conduct a survey of magnetic card meters in more than 3 million homes in the city.

According to the relevant person in charge of the State Grid Corporation of Beijing, as the temperature in the city continues to climb, the power grid load continues to increase. Since July, the city's largest electricity load has reached 14.28 million kilowatts. Recently, 95598 power supply service hotline has gradually increased the number of repairs to the public meter.

For this purpose, the municipal electric power company will carry out special work and deployment, and will implement a subregional and phased centralized survey of the city's residents' magnetic card meters.

The census mainly targeted residents and public magnetic card meters directly managed by the municipal power company, focusing on areas such as old communities. The staff of each district and county power supply company used two to three months to check the operating data of the magnetic card meter involved, and mainly recorded the basic information of the magnetic card power meter, the degree of mechanical power, and the degree of electronic power.
