The equipment industry provides all manufacturing industries with advanced, practical, high quality, and inexpensive equipment, which determines the level of manufacturing in all industries.

The equipment industry can be divided into two categories: one is the special equipment industry, which provides equipment for certain specific functions and needs of the national economy, such as: aircraft, ships, offshore engineering, automobiles, high-speed rail, military, etc.; and the other is the general equipment industry. , is to provide manufacturing equipment for the process equipment, can also be called basic equipment industry, such as machine tools, heavy machinery, instrumentation, general machinery, robots and "tri-base" products, so some experts call it basic equipment industry.

The machine tool industry is necessary for the manufacture of specialized and general-purpose equipment. Therefore, some people call the machine tool a “parent machine” to provide casting, forging, welding, heat treatment, surface treatment, and less cutting (including cutting and pressing) for each equipment manufacturing industry. Processing machinery and other processing equipment, the original machine department in the 1950s and 1960s requested the machine tool industry to do the "total technologist" of all walks of life in the manufacturing industry, providing them with process solutions and process equipment. This is the establishment of the "early heart" and "mission" of the machine tool industry.

Using this standard to measure, as the equipment industry's supply side of the "parent" machine tool industry to do it? Due to the environment and major contradictions in the development of the new era, and the government’s policies, the machine tool industry has changed its mode of production, industry, and corporate structure, including the way the leader thinks. In particular, today's market economy has further developed to a depth and breadth, the global economic integration, the development of free trade, the rapid development of new technologies, information technology, the Internet, Internet of things, big data, smart manufacturing, artificial intelligence, cloud platforms, etc. Changing the mode of production and life style, the new economy and the new ecology emerge one after another. Has our machine tool industry been ready? Looking for entry points to be effective! In particular, some companies are still struggling to survive, but they must consider the strategies and strategies of survival and development. In the short term, they are “Made in China 2025” and “Industry 4.0”.

Can the enterprise seize this opportunity to change the "crisis" to "the opportunity" and win the game without being disqualified? To get rid of the current difficulties and seek development, the key lies in the transformation of the concept of the people, especially the leaders of the enterprises, and grasping the “new opportunities, new ideas, new journeys, and new goals” to guide enterprises out of difficulties and development. In particular, it is necessary to analyze the problems faced by the enterprises themselves, such as deep-seated conflicts, the state of mind of the people, material conditions, changing concepts, making decisions, and strengthening execution.

"Made in China 2025" has become a national will

The content of "Made in China 2025" is "Integration of Two Industries" and "Intelligent Manufacturing", which is also the core of German Industry 4.0. The two integrations are divided into three parts. The first is the integration of the two products, that is, the products must be digitalized, networked, and then intelligent. The second is the use of digital and networked technologies for production process management, ie, information technology, followed by intelligent management, digitalization and networking of the equipment used in the third production process, and then intelligence. In the past two years, I have inspected and studied 20 or 30 different industries and companies of different sizes. Some companies have used information technology for more than 20 years and have made great achievements. Their purpose is to increase research and development speed and success rate, and to shorten The production process accelerates capital flow and logistics, compresses inventory, implements customization as much as possible, saves costs, shortens delivery time, strengthens maintenance services after sales, and performs real-time control and early warning on users' in-service products. The products used increase the use rate, create more benefits for users, and achieve “win-win”.

Generally speaking, if a workshop is a basic unit and information management is implemented, it is necessary to change and optimize the production process of the whole life cycle, introduce lean production, implement timely management, and information management in order to be effective. Informatization is ineffective. At present, the level of the integration of the two countries is still the level of industry 3.0, that is, the management of information (digital, network), there is still a long way to go from the intelligence. Only information + artificial intelligence can gradually enter the era of Industry 4.0.

Information management is divided into four levels, one is the management (PLM, ERP, etc.), the second is the execution layer (MES system), the above constitutes the "background system", the third is the control layer (PLC, DCS, IPC, etc.), Fourth, the field level, including CNC machine tools, robots, digital gauges, 3D equipment, smart special equipment, smart logistics and warehouses, various smart sensors and other entities. The first and second floors form a virtual system; three or four layers form a physical system on the shop floor. One or two or three layers is also called the so-called physical virtual system (CPS). After the virtual system optimizes the process, it makes the physical system work more effectively. To sum up, our machine tool industry provides the requirements for informatization and intelligent production, which is the basis of Industry 3.0 and Industry 4.0.

Learn lessons and make new contributions to the new era

The author's article is divided into two parts, the first is an analysis: use 8 words to illustrate the status quo of the machine tool industry, and the concerns raised by the analysis of the tool, measuring instrument, and functional components. The second part is thinking: First, influenced by the “ideology of the heroes of GDP theory”, and also inherited from the factors of the planned economy in the past, Chinese mainstream enterprises have entered the “big and full” business model, only considering the need for greater success, and our two companies have entered. The top ten machines in the world are ranked first, and one of them is also the first; second, the guiding ideology and quality of people, especially leaders, determine the rise and fall of the company; Third, the weakness of the functional components caused the foundation of the machine tool industry is not Jail; Fourth, reliability, accuracy consistency and maintainability is the weakness of domestic machine tools; Fifth, are not familiar with the use of technology, and do not understand the cutting theory, which is the soft underbelly of the gold-cutting machine tool, but also the performance of soft power is not strong; Sixth, full life quality service, vigorously develop the manufacturing service industry is not enough; seven, play the "04 special project", "delicious efforts" role, we must benefit the whole industry, improve the level of the entire industry. The author appealed to industry colleagues to "know shame and then bravely" and "put to death and be born later". Otherwise, they could not keep up with the new era and realize the dream of building a strong country.
