This reference design supports power supply for the instrument cluster application using the TPS54260-Q1. With an inverting buck/boost regulator, the device's output is -6.5V at 400mA and can handle inputs from 9V to 16V. It operates in a continuous conduction mode and a post filter is optional in this design.
