UCC28880 Reference Design Circuit | Offline Switch Application Circuit

The UCC28880700V minimum IQ off-line switch integrates a controller and a 700V power MOSFET in a single device. The device also integrates a high-voltage current source that can be directly started and operated at a rectified mains voltage. UCC28880 features: integrated power MOSFET (switch) with a drain-to-source voltage rating of 700V; integrated high-voltage current source for internal low-voltage supply; buck, buck/boost and flyback topology support

The device also integrates a high-voltage current source, enabling start up and operation directly from the rectified mains voltage. The UCC is integrated with the rectified mains voltage.

TheUCC28880 incorporates a soft-start feature for controlled start up of the power stage which minimizes the stress on the power-stage components.
