Nissho Japan acquired US UV-CLED disinfection technology manufacturer
NikkisoAmerica announced that it has acquired AquiSense Technologies, a US-based manufacturer of UV-CLED disinfection technology, in a cash transaction. Both companies believe that the application of UVLED will promote health and accelerate the development of the sterilization industry.
The Japanese machine is equipped with more than 50 years of product development experience to provide products and services to our customers. AquiSense and the Japanese machine share a common goal, which is to provide a product line that uses UV-CLED for disinfection. AquiSense leverages UV-CLED technology to provide water, air and surface disinfection systems.
The acquisition allows Nikkiso and AquiSense to accelerate the commercialization of the global sterilization market. NikkisoAmerica CEO Dennis Martin said: "We are optimistic about AquiSense's ability to break into different high-value markets, and we will continue to support such developments."
AquiSense CEO OliverLawal also said: "We have been working closely with many suppliers to produce the highest quality UV-CLED products, and NikkisoAmerica continues to provide excellent products to us."
