OSRAM Opto Semiconductors has introduced the far-infrared OSLON® SSL LED with a wavelength of 730 nm, which complements the prestigious 450nm (dark blue) and 660nm (ultra red) versions. Package size for a variety of cost-effective designs
By properly adjusting the number of corresponding OSLON® LEDs, different ratios of dark blue, super red and far red can be achieved without changing the PCB or luminaire design. Together with the 80°/150° radiation characteristics, it saves the cost of adding lenses for applications that require concentrated light or wide viewing angles. With a package size of only 3.0 x 3.0 mm2, they are very densely packed together for easy and efficient optics design. The ceramic package can withstand ultra-high temperatures up to 135 ° C, making the thermal design more cost-effective and retractable.
