CITE2014 Ultra Thin TCL QLED TV

Known as the largest electronic information exposition in Asia: the second China Electronic Information Fair CITE2014, officially launched on April 10 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. As one of the leading brands of domestic appliances, TCL also participated in this exhibition. Moreover, at the exhibition we also saw the latest product of TCL: QLED TV


After the TCL spring conference, TCL chairman Li Dongsheng revealed in an interview that the company has technically developed QLED TV and is expected to be listed in September this year. Li Dongsheng believes that QLED TV technology is a potential technology that may replace OLED, on the one hand, its performance does not lose OLED products; on the other hand, its price is much lower than OLED products.


Compared to the LED TVs we see today, QLEDs can achieve thinner thicknesses. The figure is compared with the QLED TV is a vivo Xplay3S mobile phone, its thickness is only 8 mm thick at the most points, so we can also see the thickness of TCL QLED TV.


The TV on display at the show had a resolution of 1080p full HD.


The QLED technology is called quantum dot technology. Quantum dots are extremely small semiconductor nanocrystals that are invisible to the naked eye, while QLED nanotechnology displays are brighter but consume less energy. QLEDs are also superior to OLEDs in terms of product performance. They have higher energy efficiency and lower manufacturing costs.
