On October 18th, the scene that made China Unicom and China Telecom unwilling to see finally arrived. According to the TD-LTE spectrum plan recently disclosed by the relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, industry insiders were surprised because the planned TD-LTE spectrum is as much as 190 MHz cannot be assigned to only one operator. In this case, it is likely that China Telecom will use TD-LTE spectrum resources, so that TD-LTE will be used in the 4G era.
Speculation caused by TD-LTE spectrum planning
What licenses to get in the 4G era has always been an unclear thing for the three operators. What has been made clear is that China Mobile definitely wants to go on TD-LTE. From the beginning of this year, China Mobile has made clear its TD-LTE plan.
All directions seem to be increasingly beneficial to China Mobile. At the TD-LTE technology and spectrum seminar held recently, the relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revealed that the TD-LTE frequency plan has been released, including 2500-2690Hz in the 2.6GHz band, with a total of up to 190MHz.
The TD-LTE technology and spectrum seminar was held on October 14th during the ITU Telecom World 2012. At that time, Xie Cun, deputy director of the Radio Management Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, introduced the specific spectrum planning plan: "China has decided to plan all 190-2690Hz and 190MHz frequency resources in the 2.6GHz band as TDD spectrum."
The revelation surprised the industry, because no one except China Mobile ’s top management thought that TD-LTE would gain so much spectrum resources.
According to the 3G spectrum resources allocated to the three major operators by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2008, the frequency allocated by China Telecom cdma2000 is 1920 to 1935 MHz (uplink) / 2110 to 2125 MHz (downlink), a total of 30 MHz; the frequency allocated to China Unicom WCDMA is 1940 to 1955MHz (uplink) / 2130 ~ 2145MHz (downlink), 30 MHz; the frequencies allocated for China Mobile's TD-SCDMA are 1800 ~ 1900MHz and 2110 ~ 2025MHz, a total of 35MHz.
It can be seen from the above that the three major operators have obtained more 3G spectrum resources, that is, China Mobile, a total of 35MHz, and the remaining two are 30MHz. The future TD-LTE spectrum resources are as high as 190MHz, which is obviously not like to be allocated to One operator uses it, and the industry judges that there should be another operator who will allocate TD-LTE spectrum resources.
Difficulties in China Telecom's transition to 4G
According to common practice, spectrum resources are linked to the communication system. When the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued 3G licenses to the three major operators in 2008, it was expressed in the form of spectrum allocation. The auction of 3G licenses in various countries means the auction of 3G spectrum resources.
Why the two operators are issued TD-LTE spectrum resources will make everyone think of China Telecom, which is related to China Telecom's CDMA technology upgrade and evolution route.
According to the CDMA evolution plan previously disclosed by the CDMA Development Organization, CDMA will evolve from Rev.B to Rev.B in the 3G era, bringing the downlink to 14.7Mbps and the uplink to 6.4Mbps. After Rev.B, it will evolve to DOAd-vanced to improve capacity and performance, making the downlink reach 32Mbps and the uplink reach 12.4Mbps. But the evolution path afterwards is no longer clear.
In other words, in the 4G era, China Telecom will be forced to transform, either to FDD-LTE or TDD-LTE. The same is true for CDMA operators in other countries around the world. While China Unicom uses WCDMA in the 3G era, its 4G evolution technology is clear, that is, FDD-LTE. Therefore, China Unicom is bound to upgrade to FDD-LTE, but China Telecom's 4G prospects are unknown.
China Telecom temporarily avoided
However, if the TD-LTE license is issued, this may be unwilling for China Telecom, mainly because TD-LTE is commercial later than FDD-LTE, the industry chain is less mature, and TD-LTE on China Mobile is due to the continuity of 3G There is no way to do it. If China Telecom goes on FDD-LTE, it can obtain better resources in terms of terminals.
This can be seen from China Telecom's attitude. China Telecom has been avoiding 4G license issues. Before March, Wang Xiaochu expressed his intentions. At the time, he said that he had noticed that competitor China Mobile had begun to develop 4G. China Telecom would actively track the technological changes and maturity of 4G while developing 3G. Currently, there is no 4G. According to the license, China Telecom will plan according to the policies of the regulatory authorities, but China Telecom has not yet made any discussion on the construction of 4G.
At this mid-year report performance announcement, Wang Xiaochu once again said, "The 4G license has not yet been discussed, but the company's research department has begun to actively track 4G technology, because there is no specific plan at present, it is difficult to make assessments on related investments in the future. But the company will make the right decision at the right time. "
However, things often go against the will, just as China Mobile did not want to accept TD-SCDMA in the 3G era and was eventually forced to accept it. Moreover, China Mobile very much hopes that another operator will adopt TD-LTE. The senior executive of China Mobile has repeatedly emphasized that it does not want to be a "minority" in the era of TD-LTE, that is, "don't want TD-LTE to have only one operation in China, but hope that the domestic market has two thirds in the world."
This frequency planning actually poses another problem for China Telecom. China Telecom has been developing smoothly in the 3G era. With rapid growth over the past few years, it has to face the confusion of the 4G era.
LED Solar Street Lighting System
LED Street lighting is a fresh new alternative to traditional street lamps such as: LPS, HPS, or MH street lights.
LED lighting provides a multitude of advantages over conventional incandescent lights:
* Advantages of Our LED Solar Street Lighting Projects:
1). Green Energy, Lower Power Consumption, Save 60%-80% Than Others.
2). Higher power, higher brightness intensity, Good Color Rendition.
3). Save electricity cost. Save electric transformer and cable cost. Free maintenance
4). Environmental Impact - Eliminate Hazardous Disposal, Low Light Pollution, No Radiation.
5). Longer lifetime: Between 80000-100000 Hrs. If lighting 12 hrs/night, could use at least 12 - 22 Years
6). Less heat Generated compared to other sources,
7). Downward orientation of Light, could adjust lighting angles and lighting range and shape on the Ground to meet the road-Rectangular. Other lighting source just could give common round shape and small lighting range.
